  • Pilot team averaged 22 wins a season and made 4 consecutive trips to the NAIA national tournament; the 1952 team, of which Ray was the MVP, finished fourth in the country and set a single-season attendance record that still stands today
  • Finished his career as the PIlots' career scoring leader with 1,199 points, today he is 10th on the all-time list
  • Now as retired deputy administrator of the Bonneville Power Administration, presented him its 1981 Distinguished Service Award
