  • Second in the 1985 NAIA National Cross Country Championships, earning All America honors for the third straight year
  • Named the University's Female Athlete of the Year for the second consecutive year
  • Finalist for the Hayward Amateur Athlete of the Year award
  • Named NAIA District Two Female of the Year as well as their Scholar Athlete of the Year in 1984 and 1985
  • Won the Conference title leading the team to the WCC championship in 1987 when the program entered the NCAA Division One status
  • Three-time NAIA All America, twice the NAIA national champion in the 3,000 setting an NAIA national record in the event in 1985
  • Most Valuable Teammate in 1985 and 1986 and Most Inspirational in 1985
  • A magna cum laude graduate of the School of Nursing
