  • Art Editor of the yearbook, Chair of the Senior Ball, Senior Class Vice President, and the lead performer in the monogram club's varsity follies
  • Played the entire 60 minutes of each of his final four collegiate games
  • Named "the greatest center on the West Coast" from coach Matty Matthews
  • Selected as the "Outstanding Senior" for the University
  • Spent the 1941 season with the NFL's Giants farm-club, the Patterson Panthers, where he was picked up to play the 1942 season with the Giants
  • Served as President of Oregon Polytechnic Institute
