  • Made 16 tackles in the 1936 game against Gonzaga.
  • Was often on the field for every minute of the game, handling both offensive and defensive lineman duties.
  • Also applied his strength in the spring season for shot put on the track team.
  • Spent his first professional season with the Chicago Cardinals, and concluded his NFL career playing the 1939-1941 seasons with the Cleveland Rams
  • After his professional career, moved back to Oakland, and lent his talents to a wide variety of civic and charitable causes.
