  • Was the first female athlete to appear in an NCAA track meet, and be a track all-American
  • Also the first cross country NCAA qualifier and all-American
  • Earned all-WCC honors all four years in cross country, winning the conference individual championship as a senior
  • Finished third at the 3,000-meter NCAA Indoor Championships in 1995, the highest place for a UP runner ever
  • Set the school mile time at an indoor meet
  • University of Portland Scholar-Athlete of the Year for the 1994-95 school year
  • Earned two WCC all-Academic selections, the GTE Academic all-District 8 team, and was awarded the NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship
